Questions before you buy
Do I need the app, and what's the subscription costs?
Yes to the app, no to the extra cost. The filter is what creates the effect optically; the CubicScreen app is what drives it. It's a free download on the App Store and it's free with every filter you buy, with no subscription costs and nothing to unlock.
What if I install it crooked?
There's an alignment frame in the box that drops over your phone and holds the film in position, so there isn't much room to get it wrong. Press from the centre outward and any bubbles work themselves out. The filter isn't meant to be lifted and re-seated once it's down, so use the frame and take the extra few seconds. If it still lands badly, you're inside a 30-day return window.
Can I remove it later without damaging my screen?
Yes. It lifts off in one piece and leaves no residue, so the screen underneath is exactly as it was. It is a single-use filter though, so once one is off it shouldn't go back on. Save removal for when you're replacing it or moving to a new phone.
Will my case still fit?
In almost every case, yes. The filter is thin and sits within the screen area your case already leaves open, so a standard case goes back on exactly the way it did before.
Does it work with photos I already took?
Yes. Spatial photos and video already sitting in your camera roll import straight into the app, so anything you've shot in spatial can be viewed in 3D right away. There's nothing to reshoot and nothing to convert.
What happens when I upgrade my phone?
Each filter is cut for one specific iPhone model, so the one on your current phone won't carry over to a different size. You'll need the CubicScreen made for the new model. The app side costs nothing either way, so it's only the filter to replace.
